Committed to Kids Feeding Kids.

Pawn America has co-sponsored Kids Feeding Kids alongside the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities. Many local children face hunger, often going several hours without a meal. Our goal is to tackle this issue by providing nutritious, family-style meals and empowering youth via cooking and nutrition classes. Children aged 6 to 18 receive free meals multiple times a week—including school release days—reviving the original Kids Café model from the 1990s. This program was reignited in 2006 through the vision of Pawn America’s leadership and continues today thanks to widespread support

Committed to Hennepin County Sheriff Foundation (HCSF).

We’re proud founding partners of the Hennepin County Sheriff Foundation, an independent nonprofit devoted to strengthening public safety through youth-focused programs, outreach, education, and scholarships. Pawn America has supported HCSF’s scholarship initiatives.

Tinsel, Treats & Giving

Tinsel, Treats & Giving is a special event that Pawn America and the Rixmann family is proud to support each year. It brings the community together during the holiday season to spread joy, generosity, and connection. We’re honored to donate our financial resources to help make this event meaningful for those it serves and to be part of something that celebrates giving back.

Committed to Heart of the City Race

From 2012 to 2024, Pawn America has organized the Heart of the City Race, later transformed into A Run to Remember. This special event was inspired in part by the tragic loss of a loved one and invites participants to honor friends and family through the run. All proceeds were directed to the Kids Feeding Kids program.
