A third-person action game for the Sony PlayStation 2. The player controls a T-850 Terminator across 14 levels that expand upon the story of the film Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Gameplay consists of on-foot combat using firearms, hand-to-hand fighting, and improvised weapons, as well as a red-colored scan mode that is upgraded by collecting Terabytes. The title also features driving levels with various vehicles and rail shooter segments. The T-X serves as the primary antagonist, and a two-player cooperative rail shooter mode is included. The plot follows the T-850 as it is sent back in time to protect John and Kate from the T-X, concluding with a final confrontation at the Crystal Peak bunker.
